Adolphe Mouron-Cassandre "Nord Express" Flyer with Timetable 1927
This flyer from the time combines the legendary poster "NORD EXPRESS" (1927) by Art Deco master Adolphe Mouron-Cassandre with a corresponding French timetable.
The jet-black train wheels and tracks that seem to pierce the sky—this composition, which powerfully expresses speed and modern aesthetics, remains an iconic work in the history of posters to this day.
The reverse side features an actual timetable in French from the French national railway company "Nord," which provides information on trains running between Calais and Bruxelles, as well as information on the comfort of Pullman carriages. This is a valuable piece not only for viewing but also as a reference.
