A fantastic original lithograph "The Spell (commonly known as Salammbô)" created by Alphonse Mucha in 1897.
This work is known as a bonus gift given to annual subscribers of the art magazine L'Estampe Moderne, and the blind stamp (bottom right) left by the publisher at the time attests to its authenticity and value.
It is said to have been inspired by Flaubert's novel "Salammbô," set in Tunisia, and features an altar with rising incense smoke, a canopy of stars overhead, and a woman praying.
The entire building is constructed as the quintessence of Art Nouveau, creating a masterpiece that resonates with mystery, sensuality, and tranquility.
